I guess the time has come, time to write about Battlefield 2142.
In 2014 EA and DICE stopped supporting Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142. – All the classic Battlefields – the games that actually got me into this franchise in the first place, the games are strictly being supported by the community now.
Like Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142 is supported by the Revive Network.
Battlefield 2142 is set in an “ice age” period of the Earth in the 22nd century, Battlefield 2142 is the first game to not include the United States, it includes 2 factions, the PAC (Pan-Asian Coalition) and EU (European Union) who’s fighting over the last habitable land on Earth, North Africa and the Middle East.
Battlefield 2142 included a new game mode, which hasn’t been included in any Battlefield game since (even though the Luftballoons in Battlefield 1 come pretty close) called “Titan” – A titan was a giant hovering ship, instead of flags you fought over Anti-Air guns to help shoot down the opposite sides Titan.
Battlefield 2142 was my first experience with actual gaming gear such as the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (which was released for the first time in 2005, 2142 was released in first time in 2006)
